Rev. Linda B. Oliver was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA to Tom and Rev. Katherine Jones. She was licensed to preach the gospel in June of 1999.

Rev. Oliver attended the University of Pittsburgh and has been trained, licensed and ordained under the tutelage of Rev. Dr. William H. Curtis.

Rev. Oliver is the Founder and Executive Director of Life Mastery Ministries, Inc., working to bridge the church with the community in the greater Pittsburgh area and beyond. Rev. Oliver leads efforts to  organize collaborative initiatives, building relationships with a goal to enhance the quality of life.  Through the years, Rev. Oliver has engaged in many opportunities to consult with non-profit organizations throughout the country, providing her expertise in ministry, strategic planning and coordination.

Rev. Oliver is also a staff pastor at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church and is blessed to serve as the Minister of Special Projects. Implemented by Rev. Oliver, the Special Projects Ministry is structured to unify all the ministries of the church and to serve as spiritual leadership for community and church events, including revivals, conferences, retreats and any special community related gatherings.   While fulfilling her duties at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Rev. Oliver has been blessed to serve as a coordinator for the Hampton University Minister’s Conference as well as for the Kingdom Association of Covenant Pastor’s, a nationwide fellowship of pastors who are committed to the call the Lord has placed upon their lives. The Hampton University Minister’s Conference attracts more than 10,000 ministers from throughout the country on an annual basis.

It is the prayer of Rev. Oliver to touch many lives with the love of Christ through preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus. Since her arrival at Mt. Ararat in 1998, Rev. Oliver has made a tremendous impact on the success of various Women’s Ministry events.  Her experiences have included organizing some of Pittsburgh’s largest women’s conferences, which have touched the lives of thousands of women in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas as well as contributing a leadership role in a collaborative initiative between the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, to counsel and teach techniques in grief counseling to ministries throughout the Pittsburgh area.  Rev. Oliver also currently serves as the chairperson for Healthy Start’s C.A.N. Initiative (Community Action Network). Rev. Oliver has a passion for community outreach, encouraging others to live their best life.

Outside of her priestly duties at Mt. Ararat, Rev. Oliver has also been invited on many occasions to speak for special events and workshops and has consulted with other organizations to implement retreats, programs and seminars.

Rev. Oliver proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ with the power of the Holy Spirit and will go to whomever and wherever God will send her. She is known as an intercessor of prayer and an awesome anointed woman of God. She lives her life as an example of a Godly woman and follows the words of Jesus, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37)

Being thankful for all things, Rev. Oliver embraces the blessings of marriage, motherhood and grand parenting. She and her husband, Darryl Charles Oliver are the proud parents of Daryl II and Marcus, and grandparents of Desiree Chantel Oliver, Jayla Marie Oliver, Marcus T. Oliver II, and Londyn A. Oliver.
